Neil Carrington

After a career at sea which began in 1974, serving onboard a variety of oil tankers and offshore support vessels and attaining the rank of Master, Neil came ashore in 1992 to work in the operations team at OIL Limited.

Following a period as Marine Operations Manager Neil moved into Personnel Management. The team he managed in Aberdeen was responsible for a global workforce, operating in areas such as Europe, South America, S E Asia and Africa. This is when Neil recognised the full benefits of global employment arrangements.

Neil has worked in the global employment sector since 2001. He was appointed as Chief Executive in 2008.

Donna Reid

Donna joined Voyonic Crewing Limited in 2007 as Payroll and Personnel Manager bringing with her several years’ experience in payroll and employment services.

Donna began her career in Aberdeen working in payroll in the Oil and Gas industry before moving to Guernsey over 25 years ago where she continued to develop her career working in the offshore employment services sector.

The move to, the then fledgling business, Voyonic enabled Donna to utilise all her experience and contribute significantly to the development of the Company leading to her appointment to the Board of Directors in 2015.

Donna’s role on the Board, in addition to statutory duties, is to ensure that Voyonic has sufficient resources both in terms of infrastructure and people, to maintain the high standards of service for which the Company is known.

John Grimson

John trained as a Deck Officer in the Merchant Navy and served with several well known British Shipping companies before coming ashore after a decade at sea to work for Ben Line in Edinburgh in 1969.  In 1971 he qualified as a shipbroker and became a Partner in a Glasgow based ship brokers office.

In 1989 John moved to Guernsey where, in 1992, he became Managing Director of a global employment company – a position he maintained until taking early retirement in 2001. John has many contacts with both British and overseas based shipping companies and has a wide knowledge of the shipping industry in general and global employment in particular.

Lorrane Vidamour

As Senior HR & Payroll Manager Lorrane is responsible for the HR & Payroll department within the Company, a role to which she brings many years’ experience in HR and payroll.

Lorrane was trained in management by a major multi-national food and beverage retailer.

After moving to Guernsey, Lorrane joined an employment services company where her talents and experience were quickly recognised, and she soon assumed the role of Payroll and Personnel Supervisor.

Lorrane joined us in 2008 as HR & Payroll Manager. And was promoted to Senior HR & Payroll Manager in April 2017.

Becky Webb-Stanley

Becky joined Voyonic in 2009 and in her current position of Senior Resources Manager, with the support of Alex and Sam, manages the internal day-to-day resources activities within Voyonic.  Becky is also responsible for the smooth interaction between the operational departments of Voyonic group businesses and the Directors.

Becky previously worked for Select Service Partner Airport & Marine, food and beverage operators for P&O Ferries. Becky then acquired a role with the Ministry of Defence where she developed her knowledge and skills, in HR and Payroll processes, whilst responsible for staff in the Special Service Diving branch of the Royal Navy.

Jenny Troalic

Jenny joined Voyonic in December 2015 as a HR & Payroll Administrator and worked closely with our super yacht clients. Upon returning from Maternity Leave with the support of Voyonic, Jenny recently qualified in her CIPP Payroll Technician Qualification in March 2018.

Jenny now deals mainly with our clients in the offshore oil and gas exploration and production industry. Jenny was recently appointed Senior HR & Payroll Administrator in August 2018 due to her ability and knowledge she brings to all the team in the HR & Payroll Department. Jenny’s day to day duties involve a variety of tasks and offers support to the Supervisors and the rest of the team.

Gowain McCarthy

Gowain joined Voyonic in August 2012 providing HR and payroll services to our yacht clients. Which has now grown to over 240 Super Yachts. Gowain was initially promoted to Senior Administrator recognising his experience and knowledge. That knowledge and experience has been further recognised and along with Lucy Jenkins Gowain moved into a new role as HR & Payroll Supervisor. Gowain and Lucy will be the first point of contact for most client queries.

Laura Shaw

Laura joined Voyonic in December 2017. Previously Laura worked in the Trust industry for 10 years where she gained knowledge working within the luxury yacht sector. Due to Laura’s extensive knowledge and enthusiasm she joined as a Senior HR & Payroll Administrator.

Laura works with a variety of clients including luxury yachts, cruise ships and the diving industry. During her time here Laura has increased her knowledge and is a key member within the HR & Payroll department.

Claire Le Cras

Claire works within our busy yacht section and has responsibilities to manage certain yachts. To increase her knowledge within the payroll sector, Claire undertook a payroll course in December 2014 and received a Practitioner Certificate in Payroll. In October 2017 she received a promotion to Senior HR & Payroll Administrator due to her increased knowledge and commitment shown within in her day to day role.

Claire originally joined Voyonic in July 2013 as Office Support Administrator where she has worked her way up into the position she is currently in. Claire was eager, when approached to change her position to something more challenging and is always keen to further develop her skills and experience within the offshore employment services sector.

Esme Davis

Esme had over 15 years’ experience in HR and payroll prior to joining Voyonic in January 2014. Esme works predominantly in our cruise and luxury yachts sections, managing the HR and payroll service for those clients. Esme was recently promoted to Senior Administrator in acknowledgement of the level of knowledge available to the team.

Sharon Charlton

Sharon joined Voyonic in October 2015 as a HR and Payroll Administrator, bringing with her several years of experience, having previously worked in the Finance Industry for over 16 years and a local Commercial Industry with numerous UK connections.

Sharon works with a variety of clients in the Cruise ship industry as well as Cable laying and employment of temporary Seafarers on Ferries, Tugs and dredgers.

Sharon was promoted to Senior HR and Payroll Administrator in January 2018 in acknowledgement of the level of knowledge available to the team.

Alex Rowe

Alex was promoted to Senior Resources Administrator in October 2018 and works closely with Becky in overseeing the internal day-to-day resources activities within the Voyonic Group. Alex also fulfils the role of primary contact in relation to IT related queries.

Alex joined Voyonic in January 2016, as a Business Support Administrator. Alex had previously obtained the CIPD Level 3 Certificate in Human Resource Practice and with the support of Voyonic has since completed the CIPD Level 5 Certificate in Human Resource Management.

Wim Hendricks

Originally from the Netherlands, Wim studied and started working in hospitality. He joined Voyonic in January 2016 as an Accounts Administrator. Wim is currently undergoing his ACCA qualification and in recognition of his experience and knowledge he was promoted to Senior Accounts Administrator in October 2018.
